Flormar Jewel Gold Collection Review - Part 1

I was totally going to buy some other polish from Flormar shop the other day, when suddenly a new display cought my eye... :) So, Flormar has released a new makeup and nail collection called Jewel Gold, shimmery and bronze colors, perfect for summer... :)

Luckily, I was able to get all 4 nail polishes from the collection. However, these were a little pricy, compared to other Flormars. :)

I was able to swatch the two colors I liked the most today. The others will have to wait for tomorrow... :)

First I tried JG453, a perfect orange with gold shimmer... Really pigmented and has excellent coverage, like the other new Flormars. Totally a one coater. :)

Next was JG452, a metallic bronze, also highly pigmented. Easy to apply, hardly any streaks... :) This would look better on a tanned skin...

Flormar 2012 Spring - Summer Collection

I finally bought all the Flormar Spring - Summer 2012 Collection.

I will swatch them one by one, when I have the time.

But to give you an idea, here's my opinion about the collection.

The formula of these are awsome. All are one coaters and really pigmented colors. Some are metallics and some are pastels. Why did they put such dark greens and blues for summer are beyond me but I use them for gradients anyway... I was told that since they are designed for summer, they are resistant to water, but I by no means had the chance to test this. With this many colors, I change my nail color every day... :)

By the way, I loooved the new bottlecaps. :)

So, long story short; grab them while you can. I don't know if they are permanent but I'm gonna stock up the purples...

Here are the beauties... :)

All the collection ;)

PASTEL Perfumed Nail Polish Denemesi

Scroll down for English...

Merhaba,

Sanırım Pastel'in bu güzel ojelerini ilk alanlardan biriyim. :)

Gelelim yorumlarıma...

Birincisi; şişeler çok küçük. Gerçekten, 5ml. O yüzden deneme yaparken kıyamadım, herbirini sadece tek tırnağa uyguladım. Keşke bir de daha büyük boyları olsaydı... Gerçi şişelerin küçüklüğüne bakıp aldanmayın, fiyat büyük şişelerle aynı, 2.50TL...

Şimdi resimler;

Tarçınlı top coat, nane kokulu, portakal kokulu, greyfurt kokulu

Hindistan cevizi kokulu, ananas kokulu, çikolatalı kahve kokulu

Sevgiler,

Hi ladies,
Today I'll be reviewing the scented polish collection from Pastel.
I'll start by sharing my first impressions ; the bottles are really small. They are 5ml bottles, for the regular price. I wish they were bigger.
Anyway, moving on to the swatches...
On my pointer finger, I have 2 coats of Cinnamon top coat. It is a clear based glitter coat with cinnamon scent, which I absolutely loved.
On my ring finger I have the mint scented mint green, also 2 coats. And on my middle finger I have the orange scented orange color. Both of them are fine, scent-wise... On my pinkie finger, I have the grapefruit scented pink shade. I loved the color, but the smell wasn't that strong. I wish it was strawberry or something.

In the second picture, I wore the cinnamon top coat over the others. But that masked the smell of others, cinnamon smell was more noticable.

In the third picture, I'm wearing the rest of the collection. On my pinkie, I have the cocconut scented white, which is really sheer. I have 3 coats of it but still you can see the nail line. Oh, the smell of this is perfect. On the ring finger, I have the pineapple scented yellow polish. This one really messed with me. The formula was very streaky, I had to use 3 coats. Smell? Not so distictive... And finally, on my middle finger I have choclate coffe scented brown. The best smell, one coater, but I had 2 coats anyway, the best brown shade I ever saw... Has tiny glitter in it... :) Loved it...

Long story short, I loved them all, but since this is a limited collection, I'll only be stocking the brown and the top coat...

Explosion! - Nail Art With Tape

I did this mani by using a tutorial by Nailside... Did you visit her page? She has the prettiest designs and tutorials... :)

This is my second tape mani, and I think I'm getting better at this... :) The tutorials really helped...

I used Golden Rose Velvet Matte as the base color. It is a shimmery purple which dries to become a velvet finish, semi matte... For the explosion (!) part, I used Flormar Nail Art in Black and Golden Rose Nail Art in Silver. And lots of SV between layers... :)

How do you like it?

China Glaze Magnetix - Cling On

I had such high hopes when I got this magnetic polish of China Glaze from the Beauty Fair... But it has dissappointed me big time... First of all, the color is really sheer... I had to wear a black underneath to make it look like that... :(

Secondly, the special magnet I bought with it, is so hard to use... My nails are not flat, so the magnet doesn't work on the sides... So I used the good old Flormar magnet, which makes only the striped design but as it is curved, works like magic.... :)

BTW, Flormar Magnetics collection was better... :)

Pastel 55

Here's another color that my daughter picked for me... Well, for herself, but I used it anyway... :)

It is a lovely pink creme... (Did I mention Pastel is very good with cremes?) Well, I'm not that good with colors, I say it is pink, but it has a hint of orange in it... Wow, I really should take some color wheel lessons... :)

Where do you guys get this color info?
