Essence Bloom Me Up

How do you know spring has come?

Well, if you still haven't got it from the blossoming trees and chirping birds and hot weather!

Yep, you got it!

From the pastel polishes on the shelves!!!!

Honestly, I don't have strict rules about colors. I mean, I can waer a pastel in winter and a vampy shade in summer. It is all up to my liking. :P

But when I see the pretty pastels around, I can't resist...

Same thing happened with Essence Bloom me Up Colletion.

They had 4 colors on the display, one being a peachy color. I got all but that peachy one. From the look ot the bottles, I knew they were going to dissapoint me. Because, you know, pastels, cremes, Essence LE... Well, Me and My Icecream polishes were a huge dissapointment for me, formula wise.

Anyway, I brought home these 3 babies and tried them on immediately...

From left to right, we have; Blow my mint, Lovely Lavender and Chaising Lacy...

OMG, I love the formula on these!!!

They are so easy to work with, minimal streaking, lovely coverage and great colors. What else can I ask for?

Chaising Lacy is a coralish pink, so lively!

Lovely Lavander is the sheerest of all, but still two coats were enough and it has a lovely shimmer.

And Blow my mint is a gorgeous mint creme! Again, minimal streaking...

I did some nail art with it asap...

Stamped it with Pueen 70 and added the yellow dots...

I used the girl from Pueen 70 with the stamping decal method. My best application so far. <3 I wish I had planned ahead and used it over a white, not mint green... LOL The girl seems so unhealty... :P

So, what do you think? Do you own this collection? Do you think I should have the peach one as well?

Rimmel Rita Ora - Breakfast in Bed

I should have known better. I always have problems with Rimmel's formula but they make lovely colors and I end up buying a few and then regretting my choice...

Same thing happened with Rita Ora collection. They were really nice colors, cute, lovely... And I bought only two, the mint and the pink.

Well, I'd like to blame the creme formula, but I have some cremes that apply like butter. Anyway, Breakfast in Bed is the perfect mint green with hidden shimmer (that is not visible on nails) but the formula was thick, streaky, a thick second coat did save it a little bit, but still not a pleasure to work with...

Here you see it with studs from BPS, A England Holly Grail (new edition) and a leopard print... :)

For the other hand, I added a chevron stamp.

What is your opinion about Rimmel polishes? Or this particular collection? Am I being picky or am I right?

Zoya Skylar and Zoya Vega

I was re-arranging my Zoyas today and I came across with Skylar... I have never used it before, so I decided to wear it for today... And guess with whom I paired it with?

Yep, Zoya Vega...

Interesting couple, but I liked them...
