Born Pretty Store - Clear Stamper review and my first YouTube Video

Hi everyone, welcome back!

Today I'll be showing you the clear stamper that was sent from Born Pretty Store for my review.

Since the day I've started stamping, I've been using various stampers. Colored, white, squishy, large, rectangle, firm, you name it, I've tried it. But my first choice has always been my old Konad stamper. I'm aware that sometimes you need the squishy stamper if an image won't fit your huge thumb, but sometimes, some stampers won't work with some plates so I always go back to my beloved Konad stamper.

Anyway, I've been following the fuss about clear stampers for a while and I have thought "well, that's just another stamper". But boy, I was wrong. Really wrong! Honestly, I don't know how I've ever managed to survive without a clear stamper before!!!!

Ok, first the artistic photos!

The stamper comes with a plastic scraper which honestly, I never use. The old credit card works like a charm for me.

The clear stamper head is soft and squishy. And clear, obviously... :) The logo on the stamper is just a sticker which is likely to remove after a few uses. I wish it was a permenant one.

I picked the pink body. You may choose purple or clear bodies as well.

Ok, moving on to more important stuff.

Remember how we used to prime our stampers with buffers and acetone? Well, this is one thing you SHOULDN'T be doing to this stamper. Because using acetone, harsh removers or buffers will cloud the clear vision.

The only way to clean this stamper is a lint remover, which is my number one method for all my stampers.

Ok, for my nails, I used 2 coats of Essie Coctails and Coconuts over my regular base coat. I prepped the skin around my nails with a local brand of liquid palisade for easy cleanup. I used Wet & Wild Black creme for stamping.

Look how nicely the stamper picked up the image... No missing parts or whatsoever.

And here is the fun part. The below picture shows the image as you should be putting on your nails.

See what I mean? You get to see where you stamp! Isn't that genius????

This is vital for double stamping and for specific placement of some small images. Think about the possibilities!!!! I think I'm going to order some spare stamper heads for this one!!!

And here's the finished manicure. Only the middle finger missed a spot, but that's mainly because I was shooting a video ath the same time, so I was a little late picking up the polish.

And if you want to see the stamper in action, you may watch the video.

This is my first video ever! My voice and accent sounds soooo funny. And editing takes like forever but I like it so much and I think I'll  keep them coming. What do you think?

Anyway, if you want to own the miracle clear stamper for such a little price, visit Born Pretty Store and be sure to use my 10% off coupon code for a lovely discount. The code is HLL91 by the way.

Have a nice week...

Today I have Born Pretty Store's rectangular plates on my blog. It is BP L 004 and it has 21 designs on one plate!!!! Yay!!!

The images are 1,7cm to 1,5 cm while the plate itself measures 13cm to 7cm with the white backing.

BornPretty Store BP69 Stamping Plate

Today I'll be showing you another lovely plate from Born Pretty Store. It is plate BP69 with bubble and dandellion blowing girl images.

Just like the other plates, this plate comes in a card sleeve. These sleeves come in handy whil travelling, if you take only one or two plates with you.

The plate has a backing and the blue film in the front, just as expected. :D

I love the "hello" baloons in different languages and also the heart made with hands image... the bottom left image looks like daisy petals to me. I wonder what you make out of it. :D

Moving on to my mani, I used OPI My Vampire is Buff again for the base. It is my favorite mani base nowadays. :)

I really had hard time stamping the dandellion images. the stamper did not catch a good image no matter how hard I tried. At the end, I gave up and made hand painted dandellions instead, and as you can see, they were a big fail. :D

On the other hand, I used the bubble blowing girl image, which stamped nicely. I made some dots with a dotting tool for the middle and ring fingers.

Overall, I loved the images on this plate. I did not have a problem with stamping other images, but the dandellions gave me a hard time. Maybe I should try it with a different stamping polish and stamper...

Anyway, this plate is $2.99 at Born Pretty Store with free international shipping but if you use my discount code HLL91, you get an extra 10% off.

Happy Shopping!

BornPretty Store BP54 Stamping Plate

Hello everyone!

I know I've been away for a long time but I hardly found time to put on polish, let alone writing a blog... :)

But now I'm back with awsome plate reviews from Born Pretty Store!

The first plate for today is BP54. I picked this plate because of the owls and I don't regret it.

First of all, the Born Pretty Store plates come in a card sleeve like this one, which is cute, if you don't have a storage binder or such.

They are regular sized round plates with backing and the classic blue film.

You can see that the images are etched nicely on the plate.

I did testing of all images and they stamp nicely.

Moving on to the manis...

I used the stamping decal technique for the flower mani below. The base is OPI My Vampire is Buff and I filled the images with the bright pink from Face of Australia. And then added the pink studs to index and pinkie fingers.

For the second mani from this plate, I used the owl images.  The base is again OPI My Vampire is Buff and for the accent nail, I used two coats of Golden Rose Jolly Jewels, a black based gold glitter.

I loved the owl plate! The small ones are soooo cute!

Anyway, for those of you that did not know, Born Pretty Store offers free shipping worldwide and with my discount code HLL91, you get an extra 10% off from the regular price which is $2.99 at the moment.

Check the plate here...

Born Pretty Store Stamper and Scraper

Hi everyone...

Today I'll be showing you the rectangle stamper I got from Born Pretty Store.

Since I've started stamping, I tried various stampers. For me, Konad works best. And in some cases I use the white silicone squishy stamper I got from E-bay. But other brands just don't work for me.

But this little guy, well, honestly the rectangle shape grabbed my attention first. I thought it might come handy for some stamping situations...

But first, some details....

You get this green stamper and a metal scraper with it when you order. Actually, I am too afraid to scratch my precious image plates, so I always use a credit card for scraping. I have a growing collection of metal scrapers at home. Oh, and the plastic scrapers just don't work for me. It has to be a credit card. :P Anyway, if you are like me, you won't be using the scraper, although many people do, and are highly satisfied with it...

Moving on to the stamper...

The stamper is 2,5cm long and 1,5cm wide. I'm talking about the green part here, not the body.

It is not as soft as a silicone squishy stamper. But it is not hard so you break a nail as well. Let's just say it is firm...

Underneath the green part, there is a plastic part that prevents the stamper going in too deep in the holder. I think this is cool.

As for stamping quality, I had to prime it, just gently to prepare for stamping. I used a gentle buffer and just buffed a few times, gently. And then cleaned it with a non acetone remover. I usually use a lint roller to clean my stampers to keep them safe from acetone.

As far as I can tell, it picks images nicely. I rol it from side to side, and it immediately picks the image.

As for transferring on my nails, I roll it again. Because it is not a soft stamper, I don't prefer pressing it on my nails. I have soft nails, and when I press the stamper it feels weird. So I just roll it... :)

The images transfer nicely on my nails.

Being a rectangular stamper, this one aligns nicely with my nails, and I find it easier to stamp an image where I want it....

Long story short, I liked this one, and will be using it for special occasions like french tips, etc.

Oh, and if you want to get yourself one, you can go to Born Pretty Store's website where they offer free international shipping along with a 10% off with this code : HLL91

Oppps, I almost forgot the mani I did using this stamper and Born Pretty 10 stamping plate... The polish is Essence Under the sea.
