Models Own - Grape Juice

Here's another untried!

Models Own - Grape Juice

Unlike my other Models Own polishes, this was easy to apply but I did not noice a smell, maybe because of the top coat...

It is a lovely lavander color and the formula spreads nicely.

I wanted an elegant look today, so I went with MoYou London Artist 04 plate, with my favourite design and the best holo stamping polish, Color Club Eternal Beauty.

Delicate and beautiful...

Don't you agree?

Jade - Falling Star

Nail porn?
Yes!!!

I have used Jade Holograpics before and loved them. The Brazilians know how to make great holos, in my opinion.

So last month, while I was ordering from Llarowe, I did put another Jade in my shopping cart : Falling Star.

I like green - turquoise and I like holo. So...

I loved Falling Star!!!!

Here I have 2 coats on my nails, without a special basecoat.

Application was a breeze...

And I stamped it with Bundle Monster BM313 with black.

Shiny!!!

Loved it...

Maybe I should get more Jade polish... :D

Zoya Dillon

Although I love Zoya and I love green, shimmer polishes are not my true favorite...

Zoya Dillon was in my drawer for a long time and today I finally decided to wear it. And instead of wearing it alone, I decied to embellish it with some hand painted roses.

I am not great at free hand and my roses are terrible if you look up close... But from a distance, my friends loved it... :D

Color Club - In De-Nile

I've been wanting to do a double stamping mani for so long. And finally today, I did it. It was not as hard as I thought. Maybe because I went with an easy design. But the result was satisfying...

I used two coats of Color Club In De-nile as my base. For the accent my choice was OPI This Crown Needs a Gown.

Trying Water Marble - Again

Well, I don't give up easily. Here's a proof... I tried water marbling once again.

My two (or three) tries have been big fails. So I was steering clear from water marbled manicures. But a part of me loved them, so I decided giving it a try one more time...

I used Sinful Colors Sweet Nothing and Sugar 'n Spice as my colors. But I did not use a base color. Because I've tried each nail a hundred times so painting a base coat was... meaningless... LOL

Anyway, these are the best nails I got after trying so hard... Not too bad, but still, I have a lot of work to do... :D

Oh, and I used China Glaze Fairy Dust as a top coat...

Dear God, what am I doing wrong????

BornPretty Store BP58 Stamping Plate

Hi there!

I have another Born Pretty Store plate for you today. This time a plate with cute birds, BP58...

Like the other plates I reviewed before, this one also comes in a card sleeve and with backing at the back and blue film in the front.

All images stamp nicely and I did not have a problem with them. The feathers are also nicely etched and the stamper picked them up perfectly.

For my mani, I used a baby blue color from Flormar Wet Look Collection and the cute birds are stamped with black. The pinkie is Golden Rose Galaxy 23, a textured polish.

Anyway, Born Pretty Store offers free shipping worldwide and with my discount code HLL91, you get an extra 10% off from the regular price which is $2.99 at the moment.

Eggplant holo?

Here's mani from vault....

Stupid me! If you don't take notes, you forget which polish you use...

But one thing for sure, the accent is Catrice Holo in One, that I'm sure of... The rest is mystery... :D

Maybe this is the punishment I get for not writing my blog regularly... :)

BornPretty Store BP L 004 Stamping Plate

Today I have Born Pretty Store's rectangular plates on my blog. It is BP L 004 and it has 21 designs on one plate!!!! Yay!!!

The plates arrive in a card sleeve, which is nice, because I don't have any files to store them so these sleeves come in handy in my nail art closet.. :)

The plate has a white plastic backing, and the blue film in the front.

Look at all the lovely designs... Lots of possibilities...

The images are 1,7cm to 1,5 cm while the plate itself measures 13cm to 7cm with the white backing.

The images fit nicely on my nails and thumbs. And all of them are etched nicely...

Here are two manis I did using this plate...

I did not have any image picking problems at all.

The plate is now on sale for $4.79 at Born Pretty Store. If you use my discount code HLL91 at checout, you get an extra 10% off. And do not forget free international shipping!!!!

Happy Shopping :)

BornPretty Store BP69 Stamping Plate

Today I'll be showing you another lovely plate from Born Pretty Store. It is plate BP69 with bubble and dandellion blowing girl images.

Just like the other plates, this plate comes in a card sleeve. These sleeves come in handy whil travelling, if you take only one or two plates with you.

The plate has a backing and the blue film in the front, just as expected. :D

I love the "hello" baloons in different languages and also the heart made with hands image... the bottom left image looks like daisy petals to me. I wonder what you make out of it. :D

Moving on to my mani, I used OPI My Vampire is Buff again for the base. It is my favorite mani base nowadays. :)

I really had hard time stamping the dandellion images. the stamper did not catch a good image no matter how hard I tried. At the end, I gave up and made hand painted dandellions instead, and as you can see, they were a big fail. :D

On the other hand, I used the bubble blowing girl image, which stamped nicely. I made some dots with a dotting tool for the middle and ring fingers.

Overall, I loved the images on this plate. I did not have a problem with stamping other images, but the dandellions gave me a hard time. Maybe I should try it with a different stamping polish and stamper...

Anyway, this plate is $2.99 at Born Pretty Store with free international shipping but if you use my discount code HLL91, you get an extra 10% off.

Happy Shopping!
