Quick Post with Alix Avien Golden Nails

I recently bought myself Alix Avien's 24K Gold Nails set. The set consists of two 5ml polishes, one black and one gold leaf topcoat.

I already owned Zoya Gilty, but did not use it, because you know, I might finish it and never get a spare bottle... Sigh, this thought only is killing me... :(

Anyway, I thought I should give this little guy a try... But instead of a black base, I used a turquoise, Maybelline Urban Turquoise, a lovely shade, in my opinion....

This maybelline is a one coater, totally opaque in one coat! But I'm afraid it is going to be stainer.... :(

After painting all my nails one coat of Urban Turquoise, I painted a thick coat of Depend Holographic Ocean Green on my pinkie...

Then I picked my golden leaf top coat and started painting my ring finger...

First impression, the formula is very watery. You cannot get enough leaf on the brush. So you start dabbing and placing the gold leaves... At this point, O was glad that the formula was watery, because as it dried, it did not streak...

You see two coats of gold leaves dabbed on my ring finger...

Well, it may not be the perfect polish, but it still looks nice and it is all you can get for 13TL...

The New 31 Day Challenge - Day 21 - Merge or Melt

For today, I'm not sure I merged or melted... :)

I decided giving water marble antoher try... After watching all those instructional videos, you think I'd achieve to at least make the design I want, right?

Nooooo!!!! You're soooooo wrong... :(

I still cannot get the design I want. Even if I do, I cannot place it correctly on my finger.... Grrrr!!!!

Anyway, here's todays mani....

Black & White Nail Challenge Day 8: Sponging

Uh oh!!! Horror begins... :) I have never tried sponging and water marbling before, sot these two days of the Challenge will really be "the challenge" for me... Well, that's the beauty of it, don't you agree?

Well, let's get statred... :) I used Alix Avien Black as the base color. Then I grabbed my kitchen sponge, cut a tiny part and sponged Flormar Nail Art White... Not so bad.... But I had to do something else... So I dipped my nails in the gold glitter that was a part of my daughter's craft supply... Badddd mother... Hope she doesn't see this post. :) The result? Not so bad, eh?

Korku dolu günler başlıyor... Daha önce hiç sünger tekniği veya ebru tekniği denememiştim. O yüzden bu iki gün benim için biraz zor geçecek gibi görünüyor...

Önce Alix Avien'in siyahını sürdüm... :)

Black & White Nail Challenge Day 7: Black&White With Glitters

Did you enter my mini giveaway???

Today is the 7th day of Black & White Nail Challenge. As we are getting closer to the end, the tasks have become harder for me, since I'm out of designs... :) Here's what I did for today...

I used Alix Avien Black for the base and topped it with Flormar Nail Art Silver Glitter. Then I added dots using my dotting tool and Flormar Nail Art White...

Ooopsie, sponging for day 8... I should get back to thinking... :)

Etkiniliğimizin 7. gününe geldiğimizde ben de artık zorlanmaya başladım. Yaratıcılık konusunda tıkanmalar yaşıyorum... :) Mesela bugün Alix Avien'in siyahı ile baz yapıp, üzerine Flormar Nail Art'ın gümüş simlerini sürdüm. Üzerine de noktalama aletimle ve Flormar Nail Art'ın beyazı ile puantiyeler yaptım...

Bir dahaki görev sünger... Iyyyk, çalışmaya başlamam lazım... :)
