Flormar 424 & 429

I wanted to give water marbling another try... To make things easier, I just watermarbled my accent nails. No bubbles this time, but still I can't get the design I want. I should work harder I guess... :)

Anyway, I used two lovely greens for this mani, Flormar 424 and 429.

And I stamped with Konad S6 plate... I just love this design. :)

Finally, I am able to publish 4 fingers... :) How about that????

Now, I should learn to make designs... :)

By the way, I found two new Sally Hansen shades. The sales lady was just unpacking them... :) They are called Good to Grape and Cherry Cherry Bang Bang... :) Will swatch them soon... :)

Water Marbling - Take 2

You know what, I am starting to believe that water marbling is the latest trick invented by the polish manufacturers along with their acetone and cotton ball and tape buddies, to make us consume more and more of their products... Harsh? Check this one...

I tried water marbling here before... Well, after two tries, I came up with a design, only to ruin it with tightly packed fingers.

So today, I decided to give it another try.. I mean, how hard could that be? I've seen all the beautiful work my fellow blogger friends have done and watched hundreds of videos... Seriously, how hard could that be?

Well, I was wrong!!!

I used half of the bottles, half a roll of tape, remarkable amount of cotton balls and a bottle of acetone. For the last 3 or 4 times, I didn't even bother to wrap my fingers with tape... Thank God I was using pinks, so they didn't stain. I used different styles, one finger dipping, all fingers dipped, etc... :)

The result? I only succeeded on 2 nails, pinkie and index finger. So that's all you'll be seeing today. Well, that's what I call improvement. Last time it was 1 finger, now 2... You do the math... :)

I'm off to buy some real cheap polish!!! :)

Giderek şu ebru olayının oje üreticileri, asetoncular, pamukçular ve selobantçılar tarafından çıkartılmış, yeni bir tüketim çılgınlığı trendi olduğunu düşünmeye başlıyorum... Neden mi?

Geçenlerde ilk kez ebru tekniğini şurada uygulamıştım. İki denemede ama iyi ama kötü bir desen çıkarmıştım çıkarmasına da, parmaklarımı çok sıkı bantladığım için biri dışında hepsi bozulmuştu... 

Bugün bir deneme daha yapmaya karar verdim. Blogger arkadaşlarımın yaptıkları harika şeylerden ilham alarak ve de yüzlerce video seyrederek, "ne kadar zor olabilir ki?" diye düşündüm...

Yanılmışım... Yarım şişe oje, bir kaç paket pamuk, yarım rulo selobant ve bir minik şişe aseton bitirdikten sonra pes ettim. Hatta son denemelerde parmaklarımı bantlamaya tenezzül bile etmedim. :) Tek tırnak batırdım, 3 tırnak batırdım... Ne yaptıysam olmadı... Sadece 2 tanesi insan içine çıkabilir nitelikteydi. O yüzden onların resimlerini beğeninize sunuyorum. :) ü

Neyse, yine de ilerleme var. Geçen sefer tek tırnak, şimdi iki tırnak... :)

Şimdi ucuz oje almaya gidiyoum!!!! Denemelerim devam edecek... :)

Black & White Nail Challenge Day 9: Water Marble

The Mess!

Here comes trouble.... This is the 9th day of Black & White Nail Challenge hosted by Purple Glitters. Today we'll do water marbling... :)

I have never tried water marbling before, but have read all about the experience of those who have tried. So, I used all of their methods combined and boom!!! 1st try was a true disaster!!!!! Really... :(

So I tried again. I used drinking water... Packed my fingers... Combined polish... And dipped my fingers one by one... Ta daaa! Perfeccctttt!!! I used black, white and red... A perfect combination... But damn, I had packed my fingers soooo tight, when I tried to take away the tape, I ruined most of the polish... Only one survived... :( Here, enjoy the ring finger...

(If you're wondering if I'll ever try water marble again, my answer is SURE!!!)

Bela geliyorum demez.... Etkinliğin bu 9. gününde ebru tekniğini kullanmamız gerekiyordu... Daha önce hiç denemediğim bir teknikti. Ama deneyenlerin tüm yazılarını okumuştum. Onların tecrübelerinden yararlanarak ilk denememi yaptım... Felaket.... Anlatmaya söz bulamıyorum.... :(

İkinci denemem için hazırlandım. İçme suyu doldurdum bardağa... Parmaklarımı paketledim... Teker teker suya daldırıdım... Harika... O kadar güzel görünüyorlardı ki.... Bu arada, siyah beyaz ve kırmızı kullanmıştım... Neyse, gelelim sonuca... Parmaklarımı selobant ile o kadar sıkı paketlemişim ki, çıkartırken ojelere değdim ve hepsini bozdum. Sadece yüzük parmağım hasarsız kurtuldu. O yüzden sadece yüzük parmağımı yayınlıyorum... :)

Bu arada, yenilen pehlivan güreşe doymazmış... Bir ara tekrar deneyeceğim bu işi... :)
