ESSIE Vested Interest

Essie Vested Interest was a gift from my lovely friend Camilla, from Bookpolish.

It is a lovely color, but hard for me to describe. You know, I have problems with describing colors and this baby here does not help me a bit... :)

I'll just say it it is somewwhere between a grey and a green... LOL I like to think of it as a grey, because I like grey nowadays... Any physcological explanation for this? Go ahead..... :)

Anyway I have 2 coats here, easy application...

On top of it, I sponged some glitter, NOPI Selena Gomez Confetti Fun, which is a multi colored/shaped glitter that can be worn with many polish... :)

Oh, and sponging glitters is a new thechnique I've learned. The sponge gets most of the celar base, so you are left with glitters and  you can place your glitters whereever you want without the gloppy layers of frusturating base... :)

What do you think?

La Bella Venice - Unwrap Me

Hello to you all!!!

It may seem like I've neglected my blog for some time but I was so busy with life... I'm sure you'd understand...

I've hardly had time to put on polish, you know? Yes, I was that busy... LOL

But for nice things... (Thank God)

For starters, I made these pretty totes for La Bella Vernice...

They are made from natural fabric, sewn by me, hand painted by me... :) And they are totally customisable...

Taking more orders... :)

Oh, and now, I'm writing this post at the parent hall of the Kidzania Istanbul... I'm sure you've heard this before, it is small city where kids try different jobs and earn their own money. I'm waiting for my daughter and I guess it will be along wait.

And moving on to manis...

I have pictures of La Bella Vernice Unwrap Me for you today. Actually, I had this mani weeks ago but I did not have the time to write the post about it, so it was in the drafts folder... :)

Unwrap me is a light blue scattered holo. I have 3 coats on my nails. It is such a lovely color and it reminds me of winter skies, I don't know why...

And I tried to make some wintery decorations... Well, I may have been watching too much Frozen lately, thanks to my daughter. And this mani reminded me of Frozen... :)

I sponged a little white on the tips to create a snow effect. And then stamped various snowflakes from MoYou Christmas Plate. Oh, and I added a little China Glaze Fairy Dust... :)

What do you think? Delicate, isn't it?

The Lacquer Legion - Adoration

How fast did this month pass! Maybe mostly because I was busy with my dauhter's birthday party preparations...

Anyway, it is that day of month again. The Lacquer Legion...

For February, the theme is Adoration. You can interpret it however you like. This is actually what I like about this group, the sky is the limit, you don't have any harsh rules so the themes are easy to achieve...

Anyway, here is my Adoration mani...

As you can see, I adore skittlettes, textures polish, tape manis and the harmony of turquoise and gold!!!

Here's what I used for this mani..

My turquoise color is Avon Impulsive Sky. It is from their new spring line. The formula is really nice, almost a one coater. But I had tiny streaks on the first coat, so I did a second coat anyway.  The little finger is IsaDora Gold Crush. Ring finger base is IsaDora Gold Sparkles. I did a tape design over that with Avon. Middle is MoYou Artist plate, 04 stapmed with IsaDora. And finally we have a gold stud from Born Pretty Store...

And here's an experiment I'm doing. On my left hand I have round nails and on my right hand I have squoval nails. I'm thinking to keep them like this for some time. The reason is, I'm trying to figure out which nail shape will suit my lifestlye... I mean, which one will be strong, unbreakable, unpeelable, etc.. :) Because in theory, I think round nails are a little stronger...
We'll see... :)

Have a nice day, and don'rt forget to check other peoples entires for #LLadoration...

Nfu-Oh 65

Prepare to be blinded by the pictures!!!

Today I present you my first, one and only Nfu-Oh polish, sent by my lovely friend Titti...

Nfu-Oh 65!!!

Would you look at this bottle? Isn't it the prettiest bottle you've ever seen? Or sexiest?

I decided to keep the bottle if I ever finish the polish... :D

Here's the technical info... :D

First of all, it did not need a special aqua base or something. I wore it over my regular base coat. No draggings or bald spots.

And I used two coats for the swatches... And no top coat...

Here are the blinding pictures!!!

And ladies and gentlemen (if there are any), this is what I call a holo!!!!

La Bella Vernice - When The Stars Go Blue

Today I'll show you a gorgeous polish!!!

I totally fell in love with this one and I'm not a multi chrome fan... (yes, you may hang me if you like, but that's the truth. I prefer holos and textures... LOL)

Anyway, here is When The Stars Go Blue from La Bella Vernice...

La Bella Vernice describes this color as a multichrome with deep blue, purple, yellow and green... I couldn't agree more but there's something that I'd like to add...

It feels like you have millions of stars on your nails. And that's mainly because of the holographic glitter...

Like I said, altough I'm not a huge fan of multichromes, I ordered myself a big bottle of this...

Btw, the formula is really easy to apply. 2 easy coats... Dries rather qucikly... And the sparkles... Ohhh.... <3

You can buy La Bella Vernice from their website for $10 for full size bottles and $4.5 for mini bottles.
