Flormar Mirror Collection

Flormar has a new collection... Again!!!!

:)

Well, I know it is good, but my wallet does not agree at all... :)

Anyway, this collection is called Mirror and consists of 6 metallic polishes with the new wide brush. All are pigmented but MR01 and MR04, almost one coaters... Application is easy, they apply like butter, no flooding or such. But as all metallics, they leave brush strokes... Not horribly, but if you are like me, it is disturbing enough. But like I said, hey, all metallics do that...

Here are they one by one...

MR01 is the silver one... 2 coats, first coat was sheer, but 2 coats made it opaque...

MR02 is pink... 2 coats here, but you can easily end up with one coat.

MR03 is the gold one, and my favortie. It may be a base for elegant stamping manis. Again two coats.

MR04 is the pale lilac, or a very light rose you may say. This is a sheer one as well, 2 coats needed.

MR05 is a green. Pigmented but I have 2 coats here.

MR06 is a teal/blue. One of my favorites!!! Again, pigmented but 2 coats here.

And here's the fat flat brush we got used to from Wet Look Collection. :)

So do they stamp any good? Let's find out...

I painted black blobs on white paper and stamped each polish both on black and white. My cameras batteries died so I had to scan the image. :)

As you can see (or not), 01 and 03 stamp really nice on black. 02, 04, 05 and 06 are also clean and visible, but you cannot really tell the color difference between them...

And on white, my winners are  02,03, 05 and 06!

So, what do you think about them?

Nail Mail From Slovenia!!!

We did another successful swap with the lovely Mateja from Purple Glitters... She got me all the Barry Ms from my wishlist plus the Maybelline Baby Lips in 4 kinds!!!!! Yay!!!!

Here's what I got...

Barry M Lychee (long time lemming), Guava and Blue Grape...

New Barry M Textures; Countess and Majesty...

Maybelline Baby Lips!!! These are really gorgeous! I should keep them hidden from my daughter!!! LOL

Good choclate gone too soon... :)

The cutest owl necklace... I'm into owls lately... :)

And here's the first mani I did using my new goodies...

Two coats of Lyche and Majesty on the accent nail. Stamping polish was Countess but did not come out as I expected...

GRFC Challenge - Red and Gold

Wooo hooo!!!! I'm on fire!!!!

So far, my challenge posts are going as planned!!!! YAY!!!

So for today....

Red and Gold!!! Such Christmassy Colors!!! For this challenge, I went through my stash and found these two polishes...

Zoya Blaze and Barry M Gold, which is one of the best gold stamping polishes!!!!

Here's what I did...

I used two coats of Zoya Blaze... I'm so in love with this polish! It really has some depth and it is a pleasure to look at my nails all day long...

Then I decided to stamp some ornaments... I serached through my plate stash and secided to use the ornaments from Pueen 42, BM 225 and BM 318...

I stamped them with Barry M Gold and then using a thin brush, I drew some lines connecting them... :)

So, what so you think?

By the way, I built myself a new lightbox and took these pictures in it... First I want to hear your opinions about the pictures and later, on another post, I'll share my new lightbox with you... :) :)

See you on day 5...

IsaDora Sugar Crush - Chamelon Crush

SUGAR CRUSH!!!!!

Are you a Candy Crush player? I am! So when I hear those two words, my day brightens up!!! :P

Is it a coincidence that IsaDora's textures are also called Sugar Crush? Whoever came up with that name must be a Candy Crush player as well!!!

Anyway, this is Chamelon Crush on my nails. Two coats, a gorgeous purple with gold glitter! From some angles, it looks like a blue as well. Totally in love! As a texture fan, I must admit that I liked the formula and the brush as well.

GRFC Challenge - Under The Mistletoe

I'm back with another challenge from Getting Ready For Christmas!!!! Boy, this challenge is super fun! I really love the themes!!!!

Anyway, today's theme was Under the Mistletoe... Well, we don't have that tradition, but I know from Hollywood movies that you are supposed to kiss eachother under the mistletoe... So, this was the inspiration for my mani today... :)

I used P2 Sand Style 090 Opulent, a black based green glitter texture, for my pinkie... :)

For the ring finger, I used China Glaze It's a Trap-eze, 3 coats.

For the remaining fingers, 2 coats of China Glaze Glittering Garland... And then I stamped these with Barry M Gold. For the middle finger, the Mistletoe is from BM14 and the kissing boy and girl is from Winstonia W102.

And for the index finger, the chimes are from BM14 and the background hearts are from well, I'm sorry, I did not pay any attention to those and now I don't remember which plate it was... :(

So this is my Under The Mistletoe Mani... Hope you liked it :)

See you on day 4...
