IsaDora Sugar Crush - Chamelon Crush

SUGAR CRUSH!!!!!

Are you a Candy Crush player? I am! So when I hear those two words, my day brightens up!!! :P

Is it a coincidence that IsaDora's textures are also called Sugar Crush? Whoever came up with that name must be a Candy Crush player as well!!!

Anyway, this is Chamelon Crush on my nails. Two coats, a gorgeous purple with gold glitter! From some angles, it looks like a blue as well. Totally in love! As a texture fan, I must admit that I liked the formula and the brush as well.

GRFC Challenge - Under The Mistletoe

I'm back with another challenge from Getting Ready For Christmas!!!! Boy, this challenge is super fun! I really love the themes!!!!

Anyway, today's theme was Under the Mistletoe... Well, we don't have that tradition, but I know from Hollywood movies that you are supposed to kiss eachother under the mistletoe... So, this was the inspiration for my mani today... :)

I used P2 Sand Style 090 Opulent, a black based green glitter texture, for my pinkie... :)

For the ring finger, I used China Glaze It's a Trap-eze, 3 coats.

For the remaining fingers, 2 coats of China Glaze Glittering Garland... And then I stamped these with Barry M Gold. For the middle finger, the Mistletoe is from BM14 and the kissing boy and girl is from Winstonia W102.

And for the index finger, the chimes are from BM14 and the background hearts are from well, I'm sorry, I did not pay any attention to those and now I don't remember which plate it was... :(

So this is my Under The Mistletoe Mani... Hope you liked it :)

See you on day 4...

My Cherry Blossom Mani

Here's some non Christmasy nail art for you today... :)

I've never had good freehand skills, to be honest. This is why I prefer stamping mostly. And I've never used acrylic paints in my life... (although I've seen many talented bloggers work miracles with both of them)

Anyway, today was an experiment...

I've seen every talented blogger make awsome Cherry Blossom Manis in the past and honestly, it seemed like an easy task. So I went for that look...

I started with a green gradient. Well, mint actually... I used Flormar WetLook WL02, Flormar Matte M04 and China Glaze For Audrey...

This is my gradient after semi clean up... One of my best, I should say...

Then came the scary part.... I did not have any acrylic paints of my own, so I went through my daughter's closet for her school supplies... Bang!!! A box of acrylics... :P

I drew the branches with brown paint and the tiniest brush... Then I mixed red and white paint and made a pink. I made the flowers using a small dotting tool. And with another shade of pink, I made some more flowers... :) Annnd, topped them all with SV....

Ta daaa!!! Here's my masterpiece!!!!

Ooops, I had some clean up issues, as you can see.... Anyway, I want to hear from you! Do you think I nailed it? Please be gentle... :) :) :)

GRFC Challenge - Glitter Overload

Hello!!!

Today I'm back with the second day of the Getting Ready For Christmas Challenge!

I plan to finish the challenge on Christmas Day, so I did a little planning and I'm hoping to stick to that plan... :)

Anyway, for today, the theme is Glitter Overload!!!! Totally appropriate for Christmas...

For this challenge, I picked some jolly glitter... :)

My base is Isadora Gold Sparkles. It is a really pigmented gold, so one coat was enough because I was going to cover it with glitter anyway. But if you're thinking of wearing it solo, you may want to add a second coat.

Ant the glitter is Golden Rose Carnival 12. It is a clear based glitter with various sized green, black and red hexagonal glitter and some shredded white bar glitter. The polish is packed with glitter, however red ones are really hard to get on the nail, so I had to fish some and dab on each nail.

I topped it all with a coat of SV, as usual.

See you on day 3 :)
