September Haul :)

Well, the title is a little deceiving... This is not the whole September Haul... Honestly it is only the end-of-September Haul.. LOL

What can I do, when I see new stuff, I feel like I have to buy them. I accept that this is some kind of addiction, but what can you do... :)

Anyway, let's start with Essence new Trend Edition goodies...

Looks like metal look will be a hit this fall.. I bought 3 of the Metal Glam eyeshadows... They are (from l to r) 04 Sparkle All Night, 05 Chocolate Jewellery and 02 Coffe to Glow...

I bought this Glow Tinted Lip Balm in 01 Light Up, but it doesn't give a dense color, so I think I'll be giving it to my daughter... I also bought Long Lasting lip colors in 06 Barely There and 09 Wear Berries but I forgot to photograph them... :( But I can say that they are really nice. Not really long lasting but nice... :)

Finally we have some new nail polish!!!! Most of the new colors arrived but I was really curious about the sand style polishes so I got them first... From left to right, they are 156 Me and my lover, 163 Hey, Nude and 165 Here's my number...

I also got 155 Red Ahead, 152 Give me nude, baby, Special Effect Topper 17 Only Purple Matters and 18 Fly Firefly Fly which is a glow in the dark topcoat... I was really curious about this one. I've heard that some glow in the darks need black light but this one is not one of them. I've made a quick test and it really just glows in the dark. Not for the whole night, but it is still pretty... :)

I also bought the Paper Print transfer solution and Love Letters paper... I've read somewhere that these don't transfer perfectly but I wanted to try and see for myself. The printed paper is relatively small, smaller than A4 paper and it looks like newspaper... We'll just have to wait and see... :)

This cuticle oil pen is lovely. I carry it in my purse and use it whenever I need some cuticle oil. Really easy to use and carry...

Another thing I was curious about!!!! Tatoo pen... It is water soluble black ink. The tip seems a little thick but I liked it... Takes some practise and steady hands and voila you have nicely dressed nails... :)

Moving on with new Avon Colors... These are rich pigmented cremes... A teal, a deep cherry and a mushroom color... Perfect for fall... They are called Savage, Racey Raspberry and Untamed...

I also bought this lip crayon in Fresh Fuchsia. It is really pigmented and easy to use. Like a giant lip liner... I loved it... I wish it had more colors... :)

And finally, I bought this Perfect Kiss lipstick in Earthy Plum... Such a deep, pigmented brugundy... A perfect fall color!!!!

Yes... That's it for now... Did you see anything you liked?

Rainy Istanbul Weather and Vivid Lacquer VL10 plate

Finally fall is here... We really had a hot summer in Istanbul and September was no exception. Bu October finally brought some rain and cold weather... I personally love fall... I love having to wear a cardigan when you go out... I love the fact that sweating is over... I love the falling leaves and gray skies... I love rain (as long as I'm properly dressed)... :)

Anyway, when I saw this view from my window today, I knew a gray mani was on the way... :)

I love a good chevron mani and if you remember, I had some troubles with tape chevrons. So back in July, when I saw that Vivid Lacquer had this plate (VL 10) on its Etsy shop, I immediately preordered it.

It was a really long wait! But it was totally worth it! It was nearly mid-Spetember when my package arrived...

My plate came in this elegant box...

As usual, the front had the blue film to protect the plate from scratches and it had a lovely backing...

Do not forget to peel the blue film before using the plate!!!!

Here's the cloeup shot of the plate... Chevrons!!!! YES!!!!

Honestly, I bought this plate only for the Chevron designs... But argyle and leopards look awsome as well... And the top two designs, well I can see some gradient stamping with these... :)

I made a quick stamping test and the quality is beyond good!!! The images are 2cm by 2cm and the big image on the top is 4cm by 2cm...

Now I'm thinking of buying other plates from her, because there are really some cool designs!!!!

Ok, back to gray wether...

Looking through my stash, I realised that I had never used Catrice London's Weather Forecast... It is a dark gray polish with hidden gray and blue shimmer in it... The formula is thick and pigmented but totally self-leveling and easy to work with...

I stamped the chevron with Konad Special Black, as you can see from the clean up... Oh, why is this polish so hard to clean!!! I've been extremely carefull but I can still see some shadows from clean-up... :(

I placed small rhinestones from my BornPretty Wheel and topped them all with Seche... Please ignore the little smudge Seche did on my stamping...

Here you can see some shimmer with this flash photo... :)

I think I will be using some more gray polish this year... I really liked how it looked... :)

What do you think?

Face of Australia - Polyester Girl

Do you know how time consuming it is placing glitter on your nails? Those two accent nails from the other day took nearly half an hour for me... And the glitter placing was not even "that" dense!!!

So, when it was time to take off my mani, I somehow decided to keep the accents... LOL I know, lazy me... :)

It was a sunny day, and I was wearing a pink outfit, so I thought why not a pink mani??? And I grabbed my first Australian polish Briana sent me... :)

The brand is Face of Australia and the polish is Polyester Girl, a bright neon pink!!! It applied nicely, even and smooth... But I think it dried to a semi matte finish. I don't know, maybe it was me, but it really looked satin like. So I gave it a shiny look with Seche and stamped my pinkie with an Essence plate I recently bought...

What do you think of "Mani Saving" mani???? LOL
Do you have any Australian polish?

Monkey See Monkey Do - ChitChatNails

Here's another Monkey See Monkey Do post for today... Or should I call it an inspirational post?

Anyway, I must admit I'm a big fan of Marta from ChitChatNails. I adore her nails and her designs... so when I saw THIS design she did, I loved it so much so I decided to give it a try...

I started with 2 coats of NYC Raindrops... Then sponged some China Glaze Angel Wings close to the base of my nails... Then using Konad m84 and Essence stampy polish in black, I added the flowers... For the accent nail, I used Golden Rose black and added the golden glitter from the Essence nail art decoration kit...

So, what do you think? Looks so elegant to me... :)

Essence Superheroes TE

OK! Essence has done it again!

Yesterday an e-mail from Essence came showing the new Trend Edition called Superheroes... Wow!!!

They say that these product will be available in November 2013 and I just pray that they arrive in Turkey... We seem to get most of the new stuff so I hope these will show up as well... Otherwise, I'll have to find a mule!!! :P

Here are the new products!!!

The polishes are amazing!!! Holo, flakie, texture, thermal, duochrome, metallic!!! I personally plan to try them all, although gold is not my fisrt choice, I'll give it a try as well... I'm not that fond of duochromes but the bottle picture looks nice... But thermal, sand, flakie and holo... Bring them on... :)

Look at this amazing cosmetic bag... I have a little purse to match with this... :)

A brush to use for glitter placing...

3 effect pots!!! One holographic glitter and two flakies... I'm not that good at glitter placing and I think I'll pass these...

I can get this nail polish remover just for its color! :)

And stickers... Honestly, if you are stamping, you don't need stickers... But my daughter will surely want the one with the stars... :)

So... November... Long time!!!!

Which ones do you think you'll end up buying?
