HITS Zeus

I started going through my stash and found lots of untrieds... HITS Zeus was one of them... Shame on me for not trying this before!!!!

I had 2 coats over a base coat. I thought it was enough but obviously, it needed another coat...

I used star shapes from my different plates and came up with this mani...

Hello all lovely readers of Posh Nail Art. My name is Karin, I write the Swedish blog Vacker & Underbar (Beautiful & Lovely - http://vackerunderbar.se), which not only contains lots of daily manicures but also make up, beauty and big amounts of pictures of my two cats. 

Aylin asked me on Facebook if I wanted to guestblog, and this is my contribution. This is China Glaze - It's a Trap-Eze! from the Circue du Solei-collection. This polish is loaded with glitter in a lot of different colors, but the base is white. I decided to use Nubar White Tip first, instead of a lot of layers of China Glaze. This is only one layer of it China Glaze, I think the white base would cover the glitter to much other wise.

It is a bit tricky to get even thou, the glitter does not want to be evenly distrubuted so I had to use the brush to get them out on the nail. 

I love this explosion of colors, even if I seldom use glitter polish other wise. I find them to hard to remove.

Essence - New in Town

Looks like Essence will be hopping in the textures vagon in September as well.... :)
I'm sooo glad this texture thing is here to stay!!! And I'm really curious about this polish!

The rest of the collection has metallic eyeshadows, glitter eyeliners and 3 more polishes, which I believe one of them is a duochrome.... :)

Oh and a bonus surprise!!!! I've learned how to make gif files!!! So, be prepared for moving pictures!!!! LOL

Acon - Cosmic Trip

Today I have the second Avon color to show you...

This one is a blackened gelly base with blue glitter...

Can I just say ick!!!!

Again, 3 coats... And lots of vnl...

Avon - Fiery Sky

I am an Avon representative. I always buy new Avon polishes to try, because I like Avon's polish and colors... And I like its formula...

Well, most of them... I bought two new colors from the Cosmic line... Fiery Sky and Cosmic Trip...

The thing is, these are jelly based glitters... Or glitter flecks... That are not supposed to be worn alone!!!! :( Too bad they did not state that in the catalogue...

Anyway, I have Fiery Sky today... In the bottle it looks like a rusty red polish.

Here, you see 3 coats of it...

I don't know about you, but I don't want a polish that is still sheer after 3 coats. And you may suggest to layer it over a solid color but I don't think I'll do it, because I simply did not like it... :(
