Pueen Plates - Set 2 - Love Elements

I'm back with more Pueen plates!!!

This is the second set called "Love Elements" and mostly has heart and lace designs... :)

They also come in their own leather carrying case, which is a plus for me...

And they have blue plastic on the front and backings to save your fingers... (that I forgot to photograph...)

The stamping quality is again perfect for such delicate images. The full size images are bigger than the first set and they don't have the french curve. Which is nice for ladies with longer nails... For me, well, I never succeed in stamping the french designs anyway... :)

The images on the plates are looovvveeeely!!!! Perfect for Valentine's Day or any other heartwarming occasion, or any ordinary day, if you're like me and like to wear hearts on your nails.

Finally, if Pueen decides to make more plates, I'll surely buy them, eyes closed...

Do I need more plates? Of course!!!!

That's when I thought when I heard that a new company was releasing a new set of plates... Pueen!!!

I waited for some time, to see some swatches, to understand the quality... When I decided that they were good enough to buy, I got the bad news... They were not shipping to Turkey!

So, what does an addict do in this kind of situation?

Find a mule!!! LOL

A friend coming to Turkey from USA agreed to bring these for me... I immediately ordered both Pueen sets and last week, they arrived... My babies...

Well, first impression??? WOW!!!

First of all, unlike other plate sets, these come in a small leather carrying case with individual pockets. I loved the idea!!! It is easy to flip through the plates and keep them safe from scratching!

As usual, the plates are covered with blue plastic. However, this blue plastic was a lot easier to take off... No nail injuries here...

And the backs of the plates were covered, to save our little fingers... :)

And finally, the images!!! Oh, the images are sooooooo goood!!!!

The stamping quality is perfect. Luckily, I did not get any shallow plates or defected plates. All my plates worked perfectly. The full nail designs are big enough to fit my thumb! And they have the curve underneath, so you can use them as frenchs... :)

Overall, I'm totally pleased with Pueen plates. I'll write about the second set of plates known as Love Elements later... :)

For those who care, the police has stopped using tear gas on citizens. People still sleep in tents in Gezi Park. The Government is determined to demolish the park and build a "former" historical building instead... #direngeziparki #occupygezi

What is happening in Istanbul?

You may not want to see this on my blog but I need to share.

Most of you are aware of what's happening in Istanbul since 31th of May... For those who don't know; it all started with a group of people, normal citizens, protecting their park and trees from demolishing. Then it became a nationwide resistance...

Police is using excessive force to its own people. Chemical gas is effecting both innocent citizens and animals living on the streets. (Believe me, there are lots of homeless cats and dogs out there, and citizens are helping them with solutions, washing the gas from their eyes...) Media is blacked out.

Another package from Denmark!!! :)

This week I received another package from my lovely friend in Denmark, Marianne from Rainbowify Me...

We have been talking about how fragile my mails were, and she suggested Rejuvacote for my nails. And I asked for back up Essence Peel Off Basecoats...

Anyway, long story short, this is waht she sent me... :)

2 bottles of Essence Peel Off base coat... Finally I can use my glitters... LOL

Sation Twinkle, twinkle big star.... A gorgeous multi glitter... And my first Sation polish!!! LOL

And here's the Hello Kitty nail polish set for my daughter!!! It is sooooo cute!!!! Finally something that keeps her away from my goodies... LOL

And last but not least, the candy!!!! We opened the package in the car before going to school, so some "candy" is missing from the photographs... LOL
