Avon Speed Dry - Suddenly Sunny

Recently, I bought myself a few of the Avon Speed Dry polishes. These series are said to dry in 30 seconds. Well, I tried and they last a little longer then 30 seconds to dry, but hey, who's counting... :)

Anyway, those following me for a while should already know that I'm not a fan of yellow polish. But when I saw the new pretty colors from Avon, I bought this yellow, because sometimes you need yellow, right?

Well, there is a reason why I hate yellow polish. All the yellow polishes I've tried so far are streaky... Not only the first coat, but also the second coat. Streaky! And no matter how hard I try, they always end up uneven. And this polish was not different. I don't know if it is the pigmentation or the formula... Grrr...

I stamped with Konad Special Black and the BM304 plate... At least this smileys cheered up my horrible yellow mani... :(

Zoya Pixie Dust - Dahlia

This year's trend is definetly textured polish!

At first I thought I'd pass on this trend. But then I tried the OPI Liquid Sand polishes and loooovvveeeddd them!

Then came the Zoya Pixie Dusts... And I loooovvved them, too!

But I still think that regular textured polish is a little boring... I prefer the glittered ones...

Just like Zoya Dahlia... It is a black based textured polish with micro silver glitter... It dries to a matte finish, which I like...

Andddd, did you know you can stamp on textured polish??? I knew, because I've seen other people doing it. And I gave it a try... I stamped with Cheeky Ch04 and Barry M Silver Foil... Looks like a starry sky, doesn't it?

Golden Rose Holiday Collection - TEXTURES

OMG!!!

Golden Rose has jumped to the sand style vagon!!! My poor wallet is sobbing right now!!!

Here are the colors...

51 through 60 are glittery textured polishes. 61 through 67 are regular textured polishes...

I ordered 6 from this range, just to give it a try...

Here are the ones I bought...

51 is a silver textured polish with silver glitter. Dries matte, gritty finish.
52 is a pink textured polish with pink and silver glitter. Dries matte, gritty finish.
54 is a smokey colored textured polish with silver glitter. Dries matte, gritty finish.
57 is a magneta textured polish with pink and blue glitter. Dries matte, gritty finish.
58 is a bronze / brownish textured polish with copper and gold glitter. Dries matte, gritty finish.
60 is a black textured polish with silver glitter. Dries matte, gritty finish.

Here are the quick swatches... I'll wear them one by one and take detailed pictures...

Oh, and the fomula is awsome. No dragging or bald spots. Two easy coats for opacity. Drying time is shorter than other textured polishes. Finish is gritty but not clingy to hair or clothes. Overall, they look perfect to me... And guess what; they are cheaper to get... Well, for me, anyway... LOL
