Nailz Craze NC02

I finally got my paws on NailzCraze's super cool nail plates... I've been eyeing them since like forever and I envied the ladies that made the coolest nail art with her plates in my Facebook groups...

I finally decided to order via her Etsy shop. I picked the plate with the unicorns and stars and clouds... This plate is called "magical" for the right reasons.... :)

Anyway, it took about 11 days for the plate to come from Israel to Turkey, via registered mail... The plate comes with the blue protection film but no backing. 

 I made some quick swatches on a paper to see how it stamped... To be honest, I wasn't expecting this quality... Look at the stamped images, all crystal clear, detailed, perfectly etched... The one on the top right is user error, because my paper slipped a little while stamping....

Anyway, there is only one image I couldn't get transfered and that's the image I wanted the most!!! The clouds (middle row, on the right)...  It is a little tricky one, since it has a large flat area (like BM301)... I've tried different stamping polishes, angles, scrapers but I couldn't succeed. I finally contacted NailzCraze and she immediately answered that I had to scrape lightly, use a credit card etc...

I tired a few more times but still nothing... :( I give up for today. I'll try another time... :(

UPDATE : I just measured the plate. It is bigger than Cheeky Summer Collection plates in size.
Full nail images are 2cmx1,6cm exactly.

'TIS THE SEASON FOR RED - Day 4

Today is my 4th day on the reds challenge... :)

I have Essence Faithful Desire on my nails. I sponged the tips with Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear White On and made the falling snow with dotting tools.

The snowman is from BM318.

This turned out pretty cute, didn't it?

Festive Blog Swap

I recently took part in Rachael from Just Rach's Festive Blog Swap.


The idea is to get matched up with another blogger in another country, and swap goodies that are worth £30, including shipping... 

My swap partner was the lovely Sarah from Knickers & Nail Polish. After a little chat, we decided we both wanted mostly nail polish. So she sent me these lovelies....

It was such a well prepared package, but unfortunately the outer package was somehow destroyed... Real bad... And by real bad I mean soaked wet... Like it was left under a running sink for hours... :(

Luckily, only the outer package was destroyed. The white box was just damp and everything was in place.

This was in a plastic bag, soaked wet...

Anyway, she sent me 17 Magnetics in Lilac, 17 Holo in Silver, Barry M Xmas LE, Barry M Silver Foil and Barry M Gold Foil... I've wanted the foils since like forever because I heard that they stamp so well...

'TIS THE SEASON FOR RED - Day 3

Hi! Today is the third day of my made-up challenge... And I have a Golden Rose Matte, #04 to be exact, on my nails...

I have used this polish before, it has a nice red shade that dries to a matte finish. This time I used the Nailside Christmas Tree tutorial for my accent nail with Zoya Ziv. Made my own ornaments with China Glaze Glittering Garland and a dotting tool.

On the remaining nails, I stamped snowflakes with Essie Good As Gold and BM319... No topcoat on this one, since I wanted to keep it matte... :)
